The 10K Map has
been updated, click here to view it.
Events include a certified 10K running road race, and also a 2 mile run and a 2 mile walk, through scenic neighborhoods near Eagle Mountain Lake.
After May 16 6pm, register at the race...be at the late registration table by 7:00am.
Note: The race starts at 8am, regardless of any hold ups at registration; so
enter early!
Azle is located on the shores of Eagle Mountain Lake, 9 miles northwest of Loop 820 on the Jacksboro Highway (Texas Highway 199).
The Azle Lake run treats you to the fresh air of Eagle Mountain Lake and country neighborhood atmosphere of Azle! More than 250 volunteers are there to assist you, and you'll be treated to music and refreshments!
We guarantee accurate time splits at all the mile markers, and there will be aid stations on the 10k course. Professional medical care will be available. Tri-County Amateur Radio Club volunteers will provide radio communications along the course. The 10k course is USATF certified (TX92025ETM). Click here for the 10k map. Click here for the 2 mile map. Directions:
From Fort Worth, take Jacksboro Highway (Texas 199) which proceeds northwest.
From loop interstate 820, go about 10 miles NW on Hwy 199. Take the FM 730
North (Boyd Hwy) exit and turn right onto FM 730 North. Proceed about 3/4
mile and turn right into the high school parking area.
Time Schedule:
6:30am to 7:45am is late registration and packet pick up
8:00am 10K Run and 2 Mile Fun Run start
(It is the runners' responsibility to complete registration on time, the race
will start on time ready or not!)
8:45am 2 Mile Walk begins
10:00am Awards ceremony and Prize drawings and Recognitions
Disqualifications summary: running with someone else's number, running in race not entered, running across finish line more than once, misleading applications, running off the course.

Individual Competition
Masters Competition - 10k only, male and female
Clydesdale Competition - 2 Mile Fun Run only - runners over 200 lbs.
Elementary School - most participants contest (Traveling Trophy)
